Now, I figured that ending the whole analysis on Cloverfield on the note of a movie review would be a great idea.

However, after the truth came out that Geddy Lee isn't even in the deleted scenes and of course the prospects of a new movie are on the horizon, the truth must still be researched!

In the next couple of days, expect to see a new banner, an analysis on the ARG continuation and more RUSH news!

Yes we did see the movie and yes it was entertaining. Our full review *WITH SPOILERS* is located here be sure to read with caution because it does contain spoilers. Here is a little preview which will not spoil anything.

GEDDY REFERENCE IN MOVIE (One out of a possible few): During a scene in an electronics store, if you look behind Rob at one or two points you will see a fender jazz bass which looks eerily similar to the one Geddy uses

Today is that faithful day. We all have been waiting since July for this moment to come and it is finally here. Now, despite the fact that we all know what the monster is, I hope you all enjoy the movie and bask in the glory that is Geddy Lee, Fly by Night Owl, Snakes and Arrows Snake, Possibly Alex Lifeson and of course Lightning baby and the trouble they get in while visiting and subsequently destroying New York.

Snakes and Arrows Snake Hiss in new Commercial

Anyone with a television set has seen at least twenty Cloverfield commercials. One however stands out in our mind as even more proof of Geddy Lee.

That is the video (terrible quality I know).

Near the end of the commercial (the last ten seconds), Rob and the gang are walking down a TUNNEL (note that the tunnel is rounded so a snake can easily slither down it.

They see rats (snake's natural prey) and they make a point in saying that the rats are running away from something.

There is silence then all of a sudden there is a strange hissing noise followed by "RUN RUN RUN!"

We feel that the facts add up and the sum is a giant snake. It isn't Fly By Night Owl because it would much rather be flying then going through tunnels. And its not Geddy because he has better things to do.

Jamie (or Teddy) likes "Counterparts"

Tagruato and By-tor

Our scientists put all the letters of Tagruato, the company that makes slusho, in a shoe box and jumbled the letters up. We of course got thousands of combinations but the one that stuck out in our mind was this one:

Watch what happens when you separate some of the letters:

Seems strange? Guaat-Tor? Well look at this, take away the U and jumble it again and we get this.

The trailer featured new clues proving the monster is Geddy, the following will contain times in which the clues appear:

Possible New Trailer Changes Everything

Greetings.

As you may have heard, there may be a new trailer playing right before the classic novel now overpriced star fest "Beowulf."It states ( I wont go too in depth because of possible spoilers) that there will be smaller monsters along with Geddy Lee. The prospect of small monsters is indeed cool, however, what could these smaller monsters be? Obviously By-Tor needs no help when it comes to kicking ass because he also has the Fly By Night owl and Snakes and Arrows Snake.

We looked deep into the Rush catalog and found a few interesting things. On the "Rush In Rio" DVD ,shortly after the intermission, a short video plays. In this short video there are a whole bunch of dragons that like to smoke cigars (awesome dragons in other words). They may be the smaller monsters but lets not forget that cigar dragons aren't that small. There are also armies of trees in the song "The Trees" but c'mon, I know a "Tree Grows In Brooklyn" but I doubt a tree would have the nerve to attack all of these people.

One album cover may be the answer. Hide your children because the following may contain the smaller monsters that we are looking for.

YES! The rabbits may be the little monsters. Look how many of them are on the album cover! The trailer never says that the little monsters look like Geddy therefore it could be anything. However, I do not believe we need another Lepus remake...

Shocking discovery in mirror image

Everyone has seen the image by now. If not look at the post below mine.

it is a mirrored image of the now official poster for the movie coming out on 1-18-08 (NOTE: I personally call it Slusho but I know there are dozens of names for it so I might as well call it by the date it comes out in most places).

Is it a monster? Is it another Hair Demon?

The true answer lies in the picture itself. Our scientists inverted it and this is what we found.
It looks more like a face when you view it like this.

Our scientists made these various points (NOTE: I understand the NOSE has a white background as opposed to the other words. Thats only because the scientist who did it used MS PAINT instead of flash or photoshop. Therefor he is fired.)

It looks strikingly like a half dog half human face meaning that the By-Tor theory could be more literal meaning that Geddy and Alex actually change into dogs and fight each other as doghumans.

Off of the album Fly By Night there is a song (talked about plenty of times on this site) called "By-Tor and the Snowdog" which talks about a fictitious battle between Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee.

At around 1:52 in the studio version there are various roaring sounds. If you take all of the sounds in bulk, slow them down, run them through a backwards machine, remove background noise, remove static and turn to stereo the sound sounds much like the new "roar" on the 1-18-08 website.

Rapping Skeleton wants a man named Jack to relax and look at the facts around him. Meaning the monster. He describes what the monster is NOT (something astrological, something biblical and not some crazy guy in polyester). He describes that the monster is going to kick the earths ass. He says its something that changes with perspective. He states that when you try to run it is useless when the small gets big (meaning Geddy). If you fight it it will return an opposite and equal reaction. Talking to it won't help. He asks who's afraid of some abstract monster. He also says that the monster itself inst satisfying (implying that there is more than one). He then warns Jack too run away because this monster truly is a fact.

Lightning Baby = Last hope for Man?

You all have seen the commercials. The "Global Warming Is Bad" ones where it shows the train heading for the old man and the man says "I don't have to worry about it." So he steps away revealing a little girl behind him. The basic idea of that is that the youth are the one that make the difference in the long run if we like it or not.

Which brings up the lightning baby:

He is barely a year old.
He has powers unmatched by anything.
He is stuck in his floating carriage.
He can beat up snakes much bigger than him.

He is an example of the youth in the world. HE is the only one that can make a difference according too the commercials and such.

This can only mean one thing: The only thing that can beat Geddy Lee is the youth. But not just any youth mind you, JUST Lightning Baby.

J.J.: "Geddy Lee is the monster"

I received this message moments ago from our Scientist at Comic-Con:

J.J. Abrams came onto the stage with a thunderous applause from the nearly packed room I snu- was invited into. He began by showing a montage of sites researching the trailer. This montage laster for over 17 minutes until it took a dramatic stop on one site in particular. "Now wait!" he said pointing at the site "A show of hands please" he asked politely "raise them high if you believe that this Rock Star is the monster"

Silence fell over the crowd. I slowly raised my hand to the sea of eyes looking at me. "So" he said "you think that this monster is Geddy Lee from the Progressive Rock band Rush?" I stood on my chair and with all of my might I yelled "yes!" He looked awkwardly over the crowd until finally he rose his left hand in the air, with that hand gesture a large explosion lead to the release of pounds upon pounds of confetti. The screen went black but was shortly replaced with the image of Rush's album Moving Pictures. With a thunderous twang the synthesizer part of Tom Sawyer started and on an elevated platform behind me was none other than Geddy Lee playing the song on the synth. "Yes" said J.J. amidst the loud 80's sounding synth "Geddy Lee IS the monster".

Geddy finished the song to another loud applause and proceeded to walk to the stage were a whole case of Slusho drinks were waiting. Geddy took three of them and downed them in under a minute with no sign of a brainfreeze. He then let out a very high pitched yell causing a man in the front row's glass eye to blow up. "Hello LA!!!!" he yelled defiantly to the crowd. Little did I know that a security guard was waiting behind me to escort me out for sneaking in.

Size Chart Update

As stated below, the owl ripped off the head and tossed it to Geddy. But how big is the owl and Geddy compared to the Statue?

The SoL is half the size of Geddy.
The Fly By Night owl is half the SoL's size. But its talons are as big as the SoL's head.
Geddy is the biggest in the situation. The SoL's head is the size of a softball in Geddys point of view which may explain the bent crown in the trailer.
The Snake is as big as the SoL which is obvious when you look at the snake like hole in the buildings in the High Definition Poster meaning it came from the ocean and slithered through the buildings.

Now it is clear that there are three monsters here: The FBN owl, Geddy Lee and the S&A snake.

Fly By Night Owl Confirmed in Leaked Poster

Swooping down from the moon, the famous giant blue owl was proven to be the cause of the statue of liberties scratches. On a new leaked poster, you can plainly see scratch marks on the neck as well as debris flying in the air. The marks are consistent with the large bird on the cover of one of Rush's greatest album.

So how can the owl throw it and bend it at the same time? Well the owl can't. Our scientists think that the owl hit the statue on an upward swoop, decapitating it and knocking it to the Behemoth (voting still in progress). The Behemoth then did all the work to the head, carried it to the city and threw it.

Geddy's Jet Spotted at Comic-Con

According to our Scientist who drew the shortest straw, Geddy's jet was seen swooping down from the moon in LA. He could not take a picture of said jet due to his blackberry being an older model.

The High Note to rule them all. (Part 1)

Maybe the explosion was not him hitting a B cord on his bass. Maybe it was him hitting a high note into his microphone. (Note= This is part one. I will post more in the future)

For years Rush was known for its very high pitched lyrics which to this day are unmatched. Even if Geddy is older he can still hit the notes that he did 30 years ago. But what kind of power do these notes have? I have compiled a list of videos showing rush hitting various hight notes. Above each video is the time he hits said notes. What you should do is take into account that in slusho he is over 100 meters tall, has an amp to boot and more likely to none a microphone which he could plug into the amp if he wishes...

OFFENSIVE LETTER REMOVED

The scientist who wrote an angry note about night owl has been fired due to a negative response. Thus forcing me to remove said letter (who cares what the scientists opinions are? Har har har...Ahem).

My opinions of night owl are this: he is a fine video maker with good ideas BUT the overwhelming sound effects and sometimes face too close to the microphone make it sometimes hard to watch.

Our scientists here at GLITMFS have looked through the archives to EVERY New York television show and we have found this. A segment on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" shows him bashing other peoples homelands. One episode had this dramatic statement:

Canada
With massive overpopulation threatening the globe, Canadians maintain a population of less than 35 million. How do they do it? Zero sex appeal!

That might have pushed Geddy over the edge. But why wait so long? Well, Conan is supposed to take over " The Tonight Show" in 2009...But thats two years away. Possibly Geddy wanted to ruin his last year on the show. If you look carefully at Conans Curtain, you can see the building Geddy Lee threw the Statue Of Liberty's head from. Possibly Conan isn't that far away from the spot meaning Geddy was aiming for him.

Leviathan, Behemoth and Ziz tie in found!

Our hard working and underpayed scientists have found a link between the three monsters, Leviathan, Behemoth and Ziz, and the monster from slusho we all know as Geddy Lee. Besides the fact that Geddy is Jewish and these are all from Jewish Mythology.

LEVIATHAN = SNAKES AND ARROWS.

On the recent S&A tour during the song "Farcry", a baby is shown on a dock battling snakes. Nobody seems to own the baby so one would assume that the baby came from the ocean. The baby also has the power of lightning. Which allows said baby to fly around. BUT I am not saying the baby is the leviathan. I am saying that the baby is the angel fighting the leviathans which happen to be the massive sized snakes the baby fights.

ZIZ = FLY BY NIGHT.

Zis is described as "is a giant bird in Jewish Mythology, said to be large enough to be able to block out the sun with its wingspan". Now on the cover of FLY BY NIGHT, you see what else but a GIANT BIRD LARGE ENOUGH TO BLOCK OUT THE MOON BEHIND IT.

BEHEMOTH= RAPPING SKELETON OR GEDDY HIMSELF .

The hardest one to analyze was of course Behemoth because two different entities fit in with him:

The Pseudo rapping skeleton. In the song "Roll the Bones" and the video, a skeleton starts to rap. However in the video it shows a shot of the skeleton towering over the band, making him fit the metaphorical description of a behemoth.
Geddy Lee. After the 18 slushos, Geddy becomes 100 meters tall. Same with his bass and his amp. ALSO making him fit the description.

So who would you think fits the description? A new poll on the site will answer just that!

Geddy Lee Spotted in "High Def Poster"

Though the High Def poster, according to our GLITMFS scientists , is a fake. We decided to run it through our PICTOANALYZER a few times and we were shocked at what we found:

According to our scientists, the thing inside of the red box is an even bigger GEDDY LEE! We were amazed at this discovery and wish to analyze more posters in the future.

Which bass would he use.

Geddy has used plenty of basses in his 30 + years. We here at GLITMFS have started to analyze the different basses he could use and which ones would not only be better SOUNDING but better as a club or an axe.

Maple Jazz Bass

Well this is one of the current ones he uses. The body is made of Maple so in effect he would be wielding a maple tree with a sturdy neck. However after an evening of smashing buildings with it it would wear down and possibly loose its once powerful strength rendering it unusable and unplayable.

Rickenbacker 4001

Almost exactly like the Jazz Bass in all playing fields...

Wal

A little like the other two but with a stronger body. It would last longer and would play better but since it still is maple it will fade overtime

Steinberger

Made from stronger materials, heavier and looks more like an axe. Thats the Steinberger summed up for anyone reading and thats why this durable and long lasting bass is the highest on out list! So expect Geddy Lee in New York sporting his Steinberger synapse come 1-18-08.

"Monstrous " title change..?

Apparently according to the GLITMFS Scientists, posts on IMDB suggest the movie is called Monstrous. In fact HERE is a whois link posted by a member of IMDB. It shows clearly that the site is registered by Paramount.

We here at GLITMFS agree that the title could have been better, thus the administration here at GLITMFS will not be changing the name of the site one iota.

Could Ethan Haas also be Geddy Lee?

Truth be told Haas has nothing to do with Slusho.

However: Ethan has the same amount of letters Geddy has which is 5. Lee has a double vowel (e) as well as Haas (a).

In the song 2112, the force called The Elder Race comes and takes back the world in a war (The elder race [humans] left the earth in 2060 something). The same seems the same when it comes too Haas. The Oracle in the song predicts this too, much like Ethan Haas predicted the attack.

So is Haas the Oracle or is it Geddy? Maybe both. We will have to wait to see the Tabletop RPG

Alex Lifeson is a force to be reckoned with...

Comparing Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee is like putting a metal tube next to a frenchfry. Not much is known about Geddy's brawling history...The same cannot be said about Alex:

On New Year's Eve 2003, Lifeson, his son, and his daughter-in-law were arrested at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Naples, Florida. Lifeson, after intervening in an altercation between his son and police, was accused of assaulting a sheriff's deputy in what was described as a drunken brawl.

Jeez. It goes into SOME kind of detail but enough was said there. If this does end up being a By-Tor and the Snowdog type of battle, I sure as hell hope Geddy has his bass nearby to go El Kabong when needed.

The "Geddy Points"

Everyone has seen the image of the two girls on the 1-18-08 site. You know the one with the mysterious image in between them. Nobody has noticed this but our GLITMFS science team...

The points are as follows:

The nose is the most evident sign that they are the same thing, they both turn the same way and are the same length away from point two.
the chin on both are somewhat rounded near the bottom. They also are similarly positioned.
The uncovered eye is looking in the same direction on both images.
The covered eye is one of the best examples because on both images they are both covered!

I think thats some more conclusive proof that these are linked together.

By-Tor & The Snow Dog

I received an idea just a little bit ago regarding the possibility of there being two monsters.

Then this came to mind: The Rush song called "By-Tor & The Snowdog" this song is about an epic battle between Prince By-Tor (Geddy Lee) and The Snowdog (Alex Lifeson). The song however ends in a Snowdog victory.

But if 1-18-08 was a rematch between the two that would mean that Alex would have to have consumed plenty of slushos as well. But why would he? Alex could have been jealous after seeing Giant Geddy traipsing around New York.

The roaring is also proof that this may be the case. Though it could be Geddy taking the plug out of his amp however.

The roaring is similar to that on the Vinyl version of FLY BY NIGHT and it plays during what else but By-Tor and the Snowdog.

I think I speak for the whole GLITMFS team when I say "GO BY-TOR!!!"

"The Myth"

About 0:38 into the trailer, there is a random silence and you hear these two words "The Myth". Many people don't get it but we here at GLITMFS know the true answer.

A remix of Wolfmothers "Woman" stops right before THE MYTH. That song was drowning out Geddy Lee singing his ever so popular song "Tom Sawyer"

And what you say about his company
Is what you say about society.
Catch the mist, catch the myth
Catch the mystery, catch the drift.

Before he can finish the line with "Catch the mystery" the power goes out and his microphone dies. Making him angry thus causing him to hum Lady Liberty's head across the city.

Attack of the 50 foot bassist?

Not quite like the old b Sci-Fi movie "Attack of the 50 Foot woman" when a normal sized woman gets zapped by ALIENS!!!!!!! This makes her grow 50 feet tall and for some reason breaks shit.

Geddy however did not get zapped by a UFO nor did he grow 50 feet. He grew 328 feet tall and just wants to jam. But how did he get so big? Our staff here has taken the Slusho back story into account. Which says that you will become the little whale etc. etc. etc. But the largest whale (The Blue whale) is only 33 meters long! Less than half of how big Geddy has become. So how did he surpass this?

Quite simple! He drank 18 slushos in one day! See it says "Bet you can't drink just six!" on the site and of course slusho machines. So Geddy decided "Hell I bet I can't just drink 17!" so he got 18 slushos and drank them in a binge leading to the worst brain freeze known to man.

After an hour of being unconscious due to the slusho binge, Geddy began to grow to three times the size of the blue whale! And thats when 1-18-08 begins.

Geddy Lee and the Explosion

I was walking around today and ten people asked me how Geddy could manage that kind of explosion in 1-18-08. "Well my friends" I told them "This is how":

It could have been two things here.

When he grew (more at 11) and his bass grew that means that his travel amp grew. And when this thing grew, it was more than the size of a cat. It grew X times its own size making it as big as a Bowing 777. Thus producing a sound which would cause an explosion equal to that of the one in 1-18-08
He tried to plug his amp into a subway car and or Yankee Stadium but it backfired and blew up, thus causing an all out explosion orgy much like Chips.

Of course it could have been something else besides his amp...

Guitar Hero an applying factor?

Most people know that in Guitar Hero Two, Rush's most popular instrumental "YYZ" is featured. Geddy isn't the biggest fan of "Selling Out" much like most musicians. After about a month out on the market, Guitar Hero fans started to post comments on YYZ music videos with comments like "I BEAT IT ON EXPERT" and "YYZ! I LOVE GH2". This not only insulted true Rush fans but also Geddy himself!

But how did Geddy grow to be over 30 stories high?

Photographic proof

We here at GLITMFS have analyzed the trailer for 1-18-08. At one point an explosion is seen and lo and behold we saw this startling image:

As you can clearly see. Geddy Lee from Rush just blew up a whole block and is holding the severed head of the Statue of Liberty. But why? Why would the humble Canadian do such a thing?
